The Thaliastrasse climate boulevard shines in a new light, thanks to pioneering technologies from Raintime. As a leading provider of fog cooling in public spaces, Raintime has installed state-of-the-art high-pressure pumps along the side streets Lampertgasse, Grubergasse, Sulmgasse and Weinheimergasse. In addition, impressive water features with a total of ten water jets were created in Grubergasse and Lampertgasse. These measures not only help to improve the climate, but also offer visitors to the Klimaboulevard a unique experience.
Raintime’s fogging columns are each equipped with 10 high-pressure nozzles that enable precise water delivery of 0.07 liters per minute. These technological feats create a fine mist along the climate boulevard that provides pleasant cooling on hot days. The use of filter systems also ensures the highest level of hygiene.
The fog cooling systems are temperature-controlled and activate automatically from 10:00 to 20:00. As soon as the temperature rises, the high-pressure pumps come into operation and produce a refreshing mist that noticeably lowers the ambient temperature. This innovative technology creates a pleasant atmosphere and invites visitors to the climate boulevard to relax and enjoy the natural coolness.
