Scatter long-term mineral fertilizer <\/strong> or organic complete fertilizer <\/strong> around your plants and lightly rake the fertilizer into the soil.<\/p>\n

The optimal time <\/strong> to fertilize your bulb flowers such as tulips, daffodils or hyacinths is now <\/strong> in March, as soon as they push their first leaves <\/strong> out of the ground .<\/p>\n

Divide the perennials<\/h3>\n

March <\/strong> is the ideal month to rejuvenate <\/strong> the shrubs <\/strong> in your garden. To do this, take the plant <\/strong> with a digging fork carefully <\/strong> from the ground <\/strong> and split <\/strong> then the eyrie with a knife into roughly fist-sized pieces. The vital, outer parts are reused, the rest can go to the compost. You can then place the new seedlings the same height as before<\/strong> in a new place in well-loosened and compost-enriched soil.
